Having had an extension to our house, followed by some hard landscaping (all done by the builder), not having a great deal of knowledge about plants and planting, we approached Gareth to look at our garden and come up with an appropriate planting scheme. Initially, he came out, took lots of photos, and sent us a proposed plan of an attractive, yet hardy, low maintenance garden design, which we were very happy with. He and his team then came out, prepared the various planting beds and installed the plants. Despite horrendous weather, they worked extremely hard and the end result was just fantastic, totally transforming our previously boring garden. We also received Instructions from Gareth concerning maintenance, however for the first year, part of the service is that he will monitor our garden, which is great. In addition, Gareth is a genuinely lovely guy, hard working, extremely knowledgeable, completely trustworthy and we would happily recommend him. Very happy customers!

We have had NorthHort for the initial make good visit to the garden and are about to start the garden maintainance visits. From the very moment I enquired about garden maintainance services, NorthHort have been nothing but professional. The cost is very reasonable and the standard of work is outstanding. Gareth is very knowledgeable when discussing your requirements. He creates a plan of works to be done and then sends you a link to the NorthHort Portal so you can see all your appointments, times and who will be attending. From the first visit I can highly recommend NorthHort.

After several years of neglect my elderly mother's garden needed considerable work, so you can imagine how pleased we were when we discovered Gareth and his passion for gardens. Although it's still an ongoing project, even after 12 months, we are very pleased with the progress and how Gareth has turned it around - the garden hasnt looked this good for a long time. We had been looking for someone to manage our garden for a while when Gareth was recommended to us. We were impressed with him from start to finish. From the outset he was very communicative, reliable and knowledgeable. The work he did for us was above and beyond what we expected and the garden has never looked so good!
