Personally, they have gone into the wrong lane. Instead of focusing on having a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants, they are selling the same 'tat' that's sold in the Range next door but way more expensive. Nice big clean café that's doing more business than the actual shop. It's all very clean, well presented. The staff are really friendly too.

Had lunch two days running here as we enjoyed the first day so much. Lovely food and coffee and tables cleaned regularly. But the best part was the really friendly staff. Really enjoyed it and will be back soon.

First time visiting here yesterday.... I have say this place is massive inside and has everything to do with gardening needs and bit more besides, plus cafe with plenty of car spaces and choice of different trolleys which require your needs when walk round.... helpful and friendly staff as well as being very clean.... ideal place for anyone in to gardening and outdoor things👌

This is a lovely small garden centre, but with plenty of Christmas goodies to buy, they also have a café, lovely and clean we only had a hot chocolate delicious, the menu looks good and we're going back next week to sample it .

Opening day of the new Whittakers site, much improved facilities but still has the same small local garden centre feel. Ample car parking, nice large indoor area as before, bright amd modern café with a good selection for opening weekend and expected to expand menu choices. Café has plenty of seating and overlooks tje covered outdoor area to one side and the outdoor plants area to another through large floor to ceiling windows, nice use of natural materials and colour palette. Indoor area of main building is spacious but lacks any 'wow factor', quite dark and ni natural light, which could have helped lift the space (similar to old building) unfortunately rather dark, maybe with time imaginative displays and lighting will grow on me. Outdoor covered area is bright, of reasonable size and leads out to the outdoor area, again of a reasonable size, have a good range which am sure will expand and change with seasons. Overall a good addition to this area of Prescot. Good luck in future business.
