I had quotes off other companies, Patrick was not the cheapest but he had vision and offered good practical advice on what would work. He did not ask for any up front payments and trusts you to pay in full once the job is done to your satisfaction. Very refreshing. During the installation I had a query about the colour of some of the blocks. Because of Patrick’s relationship with the manufacturer, Tobermore two of their rep’s came to see me and resolve my questions. The finish and quality of the teams work is better than I could have expected. Highly recommended.

Pat and his team (about eight in total on my job) have just completed what was effectively three patios, a path down either side of my garden, and the path down the side of the house, in Indian stone. Pat worked with me on getting the most out of my budget, which was limited, and at the same time managed to help with a couple of extras such as running a power cable to the cabin at the end of my garden. Part of that involved lifting the path down the side of the house, which I couldn't afford to have relaid in stone. Rather than putting my old flags down, Pat laid the Indian stone for free, so it would all match! Pat didn't request any payment until the job was complete, and on completion, I paid. The day after this I spotted a small issue. I mention this as a positive, not a negative. Having paid, it would be easy for a company to fob off a customer. Instead Pat sent two of the team back the same day, and the issue was resolved in a matter of hours from spotting it. I work planning big construction projects, and I haven't known a project where there hasn't been one or two issues. The key to a good job is to find a company that doesn't let you down when an issue crops up, especially when you've already paid and hand lost leverage! I also like to be quite hands on when people are doing work for me, asking questions and making suggestions as work progresses. The stone laying team were perfectly happy to take on board what I was saying, explaining to me why certain elements were being carried out in a certain way, and always checking I was happy with what they were doing. They even gave me a pot of cement to do a fix on my porch I'd been meaning to do for ages! All in all, a quality product, reliable service where it counted, great value, and a nice personal touch from Pat too. Nb. The brown areas in the pics are where new lawn has been seeded.

We have just had a new driveway in block tiles installed, and couldn't be happier. Pat and his team are thoroughly professional and efficient, even finishing the job with a day to spare. The guys worked non stop and were very neat and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just want to say a big thank you to Patrick and his team. I now have an amazing driveway, side path and patio. Patrick and his team are very friendly and professional. The whole job took only 4 days to complete, which in itself was incredible. The work was completed to an excellent standard and there was no cutting of corners. I am extremely happy with the finished work and have no hesitation in recommending him.
